Yes – your children can also have their own knife, so they are able to help you with preparing food and start experiencing and enjoying the art of cooking! Japanese knife manufacturer MAC designed a cute little knife for children – this one comes with a blue handle!
It was designed to provide children with a fully usable, functional knife, but of course with many safety features to maximize safety. The knife is made out of MAC’s molybdenum niet-roestend steel, and the edge is actually quite sharp (which we agree it should be). Both the tip and the heel of the blade have been rounded and dulled to prevent accidental cuts and injuries. The curved heel provides great support for your child’s index finger. The handle is made of Lamar resin, which makes it slip-resistant and comfortable to use. The handle is oval and thin to fit in smaller hands.
